Senior Devan Maynard is back at QB after having a big year during his junior campaign for the Cardinals. Junior Crayson Lafferty is a player to watch on both sides of the ball for the Cards.

Lawrence County Head Coach Alan Short

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Everything we have done since January is building towards the month of November. We are going to learn from each practice, each game whether we win or lose, we are going to grow and be the best version of ourselves in November.”

“… We spent a bunch of time in the offseason developing some grit about us. I think guys have learned a lot about themselves since last season and that is something I think we can build off of.”

“… We feel like we have a bunch of guys who can put the ball in the end zone from anywhere on the field. And that starts with our quarterback Luke Fetherolf. I’m not sure I’ve ever coached anyone like him in my 20 years. We are about eight deep in the receiving core.”

“… Excited to head to Inez on Friday night, they had a great year last year and Josh Muncy always does a great job with that program. It should be a four quarter game and a great atmosphere to be in.”
