Louisa, Ky. — Lawrence Co. Baseball improved to 4-1 in 58th District action after a 5-2 victory over Floyd Central on Wednesday night.
Will Lafferty fires a pitch plateward versus Floyd Central on Wednesday.
Will Lafferty was outstanding and was one out from the complete game before being lifted because of his pitch count. Lafferty allowed one earned run, struck out ten, gave up six hits and walked three.
Talon Pollack recorded the final out to get the save.
Abner Collinsworth singled twice, drove in two runs and scored once, Braxton Davis singled and had two RBIs, Jake Derifield had two singles and scored twice, Cody Crum and Eli Fletcher singled and scored a run each.

In the Class 2A State Tournament in Owensboro the Colts took care of the Bulldogs in four innings.
Boedy Maynard drove home his brother Braydan with a single in the fourth inning, Will Lafferty, Jake Derifield and Eli Fletcher also singled.
Jake Derifield was tagged with the loss on the mound.
The Dawgs ( 12-9 ) will return to action on Tuesday at Johnson Central, Wednesday at Floyd Central and will play at home on Thursday versus Paintsville.
Eli Fletcher has been solid all season at third base for the Bulldogs.
