Louisa, Ky — It’s basketball time in the Bluegrass and Louisa Elementary is on fire in their first ever season after wins over Fallsburg and Blaine this week.

On Tuesday Louisa East made the trek out Rt 32 to Blaine to battle the Wildcats.
In the B team game it was the Dawgs winning 42-7.
Dane Kitts had 14 points, Noah Patton 10 points, Keagan Muncy and Tucker Muncy had 6 each, Lincoln Parsley had 4 points and Easton Caudill had 2 points.
In the A game it was the Dawgs winning 45-12.
Mikey Artrip led the way with 16 points, Kolt Thompson had 9 points, Guage Muncy and Carson Castle had 6 points each, Case Cramer and Keagan Muncy had 4 points each.
In the first game for C team it was the Bulldogs winning 24-4.
Tucker Dixon 6 points, Brayson Raines, Kristian Johnson, Jake Vanhoose and Ashby Lyons 4 points each, Lucas Block chipped in with 2 points.
In the second game for the C team Louisa East won 34-2.
Easton Caudill had 12 points, Lucas Block and Ashby Lyons 6 points each, Brayson Raines and Keagan Muncy had 4 points each, Gavin Perry had 2 points.
On Monday the Dawgs traveled to Fallsburg to face the Dragons.
In the B team game it was the Bulldogs winning 29-6.
Dane Kitts paced the Dawgs with 19 points, Lincoln Parsley, Noah Patton, Gavin Perry, Ashby Lyons and Easton Caudill had 2 points each.
In the A team game it was Louisa East winning 35-14.
Mikey Artrip had 11 points, Cash Cornette and Kolt Thompson had 6 points each, Carson Castle and Keagan Muncy had 4 points each, Lincoln Parsley and Max Murriell had 1 point each.
On Saturday the Dawgs traveled to Boyd County
C team played the Boyd County KINGS and won 28-18.
Tucker Muncy and Lucas Block led the Bulldogs with 8 points each, Easton Caudill finished with 6 points, Ashby Lyons and Gavin Perry had 3 points each.
Key to the game was 2nd half defense by Foster Cline and Tucker Dixon with their full court pressure.
The B team played East Carter and come up short 26-22.
Brother FItzpatrick led the way with 12 points, Keagan Muncy and Lincoln Parsley 4 points each, Lukas Osborn chipped in with 2 points.
The A team played Symmes Valley and came away with a 41-25 victory.
Mikey Artrip was the leading scorer with 20 points, Carson Castle finished with 15 points, Cash Curnutte, Gauge Muncy and Max Murriell chipped in with 2 points each.
On November 17th Louisa East hosted their first ever home game against Eden Elementary from Martin Co.
In the first C game the Dawgs win Won 25-1.
