MORE DRUGS THAN A CHEECH & CHONG MOVIE:
THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED IN MASSIVE DRUG BUST IN JOHNSON COUNTY AFTER POLICE UNCOVER “ROULETTE WHEEL” OF VARIOUS NARCOTICS, TOTALING SEVEN DIFFERENT TYPES OF ILLEGAL STREET DRUGS
DRUG RAID CAME AFTER SHERIFF DEPARTMENT RECEIVED MULTIPLE “COMPLAINTS” AND TIPS ABOUT THE OUT OF TOWN LEADER OF THE MAJOR DRUG OPERATION
Three people were recently arrested in Johnson County, KY.,after law enforcement authorities received information and acted upon with their gathered intelligence, leading to the discovery that uncovering of a large drug dealing operation, with not only multiple illegal narcotics, but also enough quantities to get a major portion of residents of Johnson County either high, stoned, and/or tripping.
On Friday morning, September 16, the Johnson County Sheriff Office arrested the major drug dealing trio on various trafficking charges, including charges for heroin, meth, fentanyl, opiates, LSD, cocaine and marijuana.
According to the arrest citation report, the Johnson County Sheriff Office had received “several complaints” and tips that Tim D. Morman, 53, of New Circle Road, Lexington, KY., had been trafficking narcotics and then learned that Tim Morman had “recently (received) a substantial amount of various narcotics.” The citation said that deputies obtained a search warrant for a residence in Johnson County, located in the Sitka community.
When deputies arrived, the citation said, they saw Tim Morman look at them through the glass of the front door and then “dart away to another room to dispose of narcotics,” at which point the deputies forced entry into the residence and detained Morman.
The deputies then searched the residence, which resulted in the finding of two black plastic “ammo boxes” which held multiple clear plastic bags containing a “variety” of narcotics and multiple backpacks, according to the arrest citation.
As the search continued, deputies discovered a duffel bag containing a “substantial amount” of ammunition for various firearms and a Ruger LCP 2 .380, which was verified by sheriff dispatch as being stolen, the arrest citation said. Deputies also found a large bag containing a large amount of marijuana.
The search of the residence was not complete there, the arrest citation said, as deputies then found two women, identified by their Social Security numbers as Sabre Napier, 30, of Williams Branch, Wittensville, KY., and Tiffany Roberts, 25, of Caney Newsome Branch, Pikeville, KY., in a “hidden room” accessible by a crawl space from the master bathroom of the house.
The deputies spoke with Tim Morman, the arrest citation said, who claimed he had no idea where any of these items had come from. According to the arrest citation, while the deputies were speaking with Tim Morman, the deputies noticed that his shoes were wet and covered in grass and thus began to further their search outside the residence.
Approximately 100 feet from the entrance to the house, the citation said, deputies located a small metallic container which held a “substantial amount of meth, cocaine, fentanyl and marijuana, as well as four various firearms.” As the search was finally finished, the deputies discovered $1,090 in cash on Tim Morman’s personal pocket, the arrest citation claimed.
According to Johnson County Sheriff Doug Saylor, Tim Morman had more than 70 grams of methamphetamine, more than five pounds of marijuana, quantities of various pills and other narcotics.
Tim D. Morman, Sabre Napier, and Tiffany Roberts were all arrested and were charged with the following seven (7) criminal drug offenses:
*TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – ( > OR = 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE),
*TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST OFFENSE (HEROIN),
*TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST OFFENSE (CARFENTANIL OR FENTANYL DERIVATIVES),
*TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – ( > OR = 4 GRAMS COCAINE),
*TRAFFICKING IN MARIJUANA ( > 5 LBS.) 1ST OFFENSE,
*TRAFFICKING CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (LSD),
*TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – ( > OR = 10 D.U. OPIATES).
Tim D. Morman was additionally charged with
*POSSESSION OF FIREARM BY CONVICTED FELON, and
*RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY (FIREARM); while
Sabre Napier was also served with a bench warrant for the charge of
*FAILURE TO APPEAR.
All three of the drug dealing suspects were transported to and lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, KY., with each of the drug dealing suspects given a $10,000 full cash bond set for each on Monday morning, September 19., during which time while all three drug suspects were also arraigned the same day entering not guilty pleas in Johnson County District Court. No further court dates had been set as of this time for the drug trio.
Tim D Morman and Sabre Napier remained in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center as of Saturday night, September 25; while Tiffany Roberts was able to post her bond, and was released from the BSRDC on Wednesday afternoon, September 21.
