Spokane Valley, WA. — Former Bulldog baseball Star Jackson Feltner hit a three run homer to help Hillsboro to a 8-5 victory over Spokane on Wednesday night at Avista Stadium.

It was the fifth homer of the year for Feltner as the Hops improved to 28-25 on the season. Hillsboro is an affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Spokane Indians fell to 27-26 on the year. They are an affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.

Hillsboro Hop Jackson Feltner

“… Always great to be able to have a big hit for your team like that. We’ve been scuffling a little bit on the road coming down the stretch here at the end of the first half, and we need every win we can get to secure our playoff spot.”

“…I try and not let my spot in the lineup change how I approach my at bats. I just try and stick to plan and treat every at bat the same and see what happens.“
