October 13, 1942 — January 13, 2025
Dr. Kenneth R. Lemaster, 82, of Allen, KY went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 13, 2025. Ken was born October 13, 1942 in Louisa, KY to the late Daniel and Nola (Maynard) Lemaster.
Ken was the Pastor of Christ United Methodist Church for 51 years, founder of Wesley Christian School, and a member of Kentucky United Methodist Annual Conference.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Wesley Hershel Lemaster, Cecil Lemaster, Winfield Lemaster, and Mack Daniel Lemaster and sisters Clovia Marie Holt and Pauline Murdock.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years Kay Lemaster; brother Herbert (Kim) Lemaster; sister Elizabeth “Lizzie” Partin, Dorothy Champion, Beulah (Gary Young) Greene, and Bonnie Dressler; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Christ United Methodist Church or Wesley Christian School.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Christ United Methodist Church with Bishop Debbie Wallace Padgett officiating. Entombment will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 12:00 PM until time of service at Christ United Methodist Church in Allen, KY.
