Taylor G.Howell, 26, of Lovely, KY., was charged on Wednesday, November 13 at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center on a bench warrant. Martin County Sheriff Office Chief Deputy Chris Kidd served the bench warrant.
Nicholas Lee Bowen, 28, of Inez, KY. was arrested on Saturday November 16, on Main Street in Inez, on two bench warrants from Martin County District Court. Martin County Sheriff Office Special Deputy John C. Kirk served the warrants. Nicholas Bowen was booked at 9:32 P.M., into the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville in Johnson County, where his bond was set from the two warrants each at $248, for a total of $496.
Rita Lynn Maynard, 53, of Lovely, KY., was arrested on Saturday, November 16, in Warfield, on the charges of *DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS, and *ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A MINOR. Martin County Sheriff Office Special Deputy John C. Kirk, after a traffic stop occurred after Rita Maynard’s vehicle repeatedly drifted out of her lane.
Rita Maynard reportedly passed a sobriety test and attributed her erratic driving to glaucoma, explaining that it occasionally affects her vision. Things took a turn when she consented to a vehicle search. According to the police report, officers discovered a “meth pipe” and “burnt foil” in the car.
Rita Maynard’s grandson was also present during the incident. Deputies subsequently released the child to his mother.
Robin A. Hinkle, 47, of Inez, KY., was taken into custody by the Martin County Sheriff Office on Tuesday, November 19, on a bench warrant for *CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER; to serve a guilty plea jail sentence. Robin Hinkle was booked at 1:29 P.M., into the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville in Johnson County
