SHONDA R. OSBORNE, 52, OF LOUISA, KENTUCKY; WAS ARRESTED JUST AFTER 12:00 P.M., THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24, AFTER SHE REPORTEDLY SHOT A MAN N THE LEG IN THE MATTIE ROAD AREA
A Lawrence County, Kentucky woman is in jail after a shooting that left a man injured in the leg.
According to the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened on Thursday morning, October 24, around 11:30 A.M., along near Mattie Road.
When deputies arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound to the leg.
The deputies immediately found a woman, who was identified as Shonda R. Osborne, 52, of Louisa, KY., was found on the property and when interviewed admitted to shooting the man during a fight, according to the deputies.
Shonda Osborne was arrested by deputy Tyler Laney, and she was charged with: *ASSAULT, 1ST DEGREE, a Class B felony, which is punishable if there is criminal trial conviction by from ten years to up to 20 years in prison.
Shonda Osborne was transported to and lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center, in Paintsville in Johnson County, where she was given a $5,000 full cash bond, which Shonda Osborne posted and she was released from the BSRDC on Friday, October 25.
The man, who was not identified, was taken to an area hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
