EVIL WITCH WOMAN: TORILENA MAY FIELDS, 32, OF MOUNT OLIVET, KENTUCKY; WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY BY A KY. STATE POLICE SPECIAL RESPONSE UNIT ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 10, AFTER SHE ALLEGEDLY DISMEMBERED HER MOTHER, & WAS COOKING HER BODY PARTS IN A STOVE POT IN AN OVEN AT THEIR HOME IN ROBERTSON COUNTY.
Kentucky State Police say they are investigating one of the most gruesome death cases they have seen after a worker discovered parts of a woman’s body behind a home earlier this week that has shaken and stunned to the core the residents of the smallest county in the state due to the super-graphic story making national headlines, unfortunately timed right for the current Halloween season.
According to the Kentucky State Police Post 6 in Dry Ridge, in Grant County, at 12;26 P.M., they stated that they were called to the home in the tiny town of Mount Olivet in Robertson County by a man who said he was doing work at the property on Wednesday afternoon, October 9.
According to state police, the worker went looking for the property owner that day after there was no answer at the door.
The man told troopers that he noticed drag marks in the grass that led him to find a dismembered body behind the home.
The arms, legs and head were all removed from the woman’s body, law enforcement authorities said.
After an intense investigation, Kentucky State Police Post 6 announced on Thursday, October 10, that Torilena May Fields, 32, of Mount Olivet, was arrested in connection with the crime.
Torilena Fields was in the home when state police arrived, and they had to use tear gas to eventually get her out.
KSP Post 13 Public Affairs trooper David Jones said Kentucky State Police responded to this home on Brierly Ridge Road Wednesday afternoon after the man who arrived to work on the property made the horrific discovery.
“Two units arrived on scene, discovered the deceased body in the backyard. We obtained a search warrant and called in our special response team,” said trooper David Jones.
According to KSP Post 6 troopers, Torilena Fields was found with blood on herself when she was removed from the home after refusing to come out.
State police said the worker also told them that he saw the victim, who was later identified as Trudy Fields, and Torilena Fields the previous day, Tuesday, October 8, while checking the property for the work that was needed.
Trooper Jones said it was the type of crime scene they never want to have to process
According to the arrest citation report, troopers said they found multiple body parts and organs inside a folded mattress when they were checking the property.
The troopers also found what appeared to be cooked human body parts in a warm pot in the oven of the kitchen.
Additionally, KSP Post 6 troopers shared that the worker told them that Torilena Fields appeared to be casting spells and was being confrontational during his and his coworker’s visit on Tuesday.
Torilena May Fields was transported to and is currently being held at the Bourbon County Detention Center in Paris KY., where she is currently charged with: *OBSTRUCTING GOVERNMENTAL OPERATIONS, *TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE (COMPLICITY), and *ABUSE OF CORPSE. Torilena Fields’ bond was set at $25,000 full cash only; and her first court date for her arraignment is tentatively scheduled for Monday, October 14.
Pending further investigation, more charges may be filed. This matter remains under investigation by KSP Post 6 Detectives.
Meanwhile, the residents of the Mount Olivet area, a city with a total area of 0.4 square miles (1.0 km2), and a population of around 350, are left shocked by its gruesome nature that has now occurred in Robertson County, which holds the distinction as being the smallest county in Kentucky in both population (just over 2,300); and area size (a total area of 100 square miles (260 km2),.
“It’s unthinkable, really, to end up ending up that way,” Mt. Olivet resident James McFarland said.
“To me, where is the mindset of the person at that point? Was she really even mentally stable enough to know what she was even doing?” James McFarland said.
James McFarland said that losing someone like Trudy Fields in this manner has shaken up their small town.
“She was a sweet old lady. Sweetest lady you could be around. Really nice,” said James McFarland.
