Clarence Jackson Peters, always known as Jack, went to be with the Lord, Sept. 23rd at KDMC in Ashland, KY. He was born Nov. 6, 1933 in Fort Gay, WV. He attended school at Fort Gay, WV.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, a railroad worker for many years, and ended up retiring from the Nickel Plant in Burnaugh, KY.
He had a great gift of telling stories from the many events in his life. We all wish that he had written a book concerning them.
He was a Christian and loved the Lord supremely. He was a member of Peters Chapel Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Sophia Peters, wife Larna Jean Hay Peters, brother and wife, Gene and Ann Peters. Sister in law Blanche Trent Peters, sister in law Mary Bartram Peters, and sister in law Emily Lou Gilliam Peters.

He is survived by his son Lenny (Lora) Campbell of Kitts Hill, Ohio. Grandkids: Josh (Carrie) Campbell of Willowood, Ohio, Mandy (Dustin) Campbell of Minford, OH, Aaron (Amanda) Campbell of Chesapeake, Ohio, Marcus (Cassidy) Campbell of Kitts Hill, Ohio. Great Grandkids: Mason, Jonah, and Reagan Campbell, Sophia and Lyla Hieronimus, and Maximus Campbell. Hattie Campbell is in heaven meeting her Pawpaw Jack.
He is also survived by his brothers, Noah Jr Peters of Mansfield, OH, Jim Peters of Mansfield, OH, and Jarrett Peters of Ceredo Kenova, WV as well as several nieces and nephews and other family members.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Peters Chapel Church with Brother Dick Maynard and his son Pastor Lenny Campbell officiating. Burial will full military honors will follow in the Rev. Lewis G. Peters Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 11:00 AM until time of service at Peters Chapel Church.
