Louisa, Ky. — The defending OVC champion Louisa Middle girls basketball team is off to a 1-1 start to the 2024 season.

The Rams outscored Louisa 8-2 in overtime to secure the road victory.
Gracie Woods led the Bulldogs with 9 points, Jenna Murphy tallied 8 points, Leah Muncy and AB Hayes had 6 points each and Kayley Spillman chipped in with 1 point.
Raceland 30 Louisa 10 ( B-Team )
In the first game of the night the Rams cruised to the win.
Brinley Baisden led Louisa with 6 points, Madison Hughes had 3 points and Madilyn Blankenship chipped in with 1 point.
Louisa 44 Fairview 13 ( A-Team )
Gracie Woods had a team high 10 points, Leah Muncy tallied 8 points, Lauren Sammons and Kayley Spillman had 6 points each, AB Hayes had 5 points, Jenna Murphy 4 points, Brinley Baisden 3 points and Sydney Ash chipped in with 2 points.
Louisa 24 Fairview 1 ( B-Team )
Brinley Baisden led Louisa with 11 points, Madison Hughes added 8 points, Mackenzie Pinkerman and Angel Evans had 2 points each and Madalyn Blankenship chipped in with 1 point.
Louisa will travel to Lewis Co. on Tuesday and host Bath Co. on Thursday.
