COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Wow what else can I say but Wow. What a year Parker had 27.5 points,9 rebounds, 3.5 assist and 3 steals a game and lead the state in scoring regardless of class.”
“../ People are going say things but he dropped 54 points one night and turned around and dropped 55 the next night against Huntington Expression Prep Academy who is not a push over team. Which the 55 points set the single game scoring record at Tolsia which was owned by Coty Jude at 54 points.
“… Two games this year he hit double digits from behind the three point line and broke the school record held by Jesse Muncy for most 3’s in a single game. When he gets rolling the boys feed him the ball and it gets exciting, when he gets hot outside The Rebel ARENA gets rocking. Pretty sure he also went over the 500 rebound mark in the regional game against St. Joe.”
“… Deserving of second team all state is understatement in my book. I think his stats speak for themselves when it comes to all-state selections. ALot coaches I talked to was like Coach his a lock for first team but I guess sports writers don’t hear as much basketball as coaches do. But anyway that just gives him another personal goal to go out and work for this summer. He’s working out with a chip on his shoulder I can tell you that. He told me he was shooting for the state tournament and Gatorade player of the year. That’s two huge goals to work for and every time he’s told me he’s chasing after something he went out and done it. He’s going to have a much more talented support staff next year, all of the boys have been in the weight room and the gym. So might be little hard to double him up next season. So watch out!!!”

COACH’S COMMENTS
“… We are very proud of both Emily Artrip and Jacey Crum on being recognized Class A All-State. They both are excellent players that work extremely hard improving all aspects of their game.”
“… Emily is a capable scorer who can score at all three levels. She gets to the rim well and is a high percentage three point threat as well.”
“… Jacey has really came into her own offensive side of the ball. She is very efficient from the three point line, attacks well and has a good mid range game as well. She is a tenacious defender who was usually matched up against the opponent’s top player.”
“… These players help lead the Lady Rebels to a section runner-up and a regional final finish to the season. The future is extremely bright for both is these players and we can’t wait to see how their games will continue to grow. They are both great players and even better students and role-models both at school and in the court.”
