PIKE COUNTY, KENTUCKY WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER BEING INDICTED ON FEDERAL DRUG AND GUN CHARGES
INDICTMENT INVOLVES METH AND THE SUSPECT BEING A CONVICTED FELON, WHO WAS FOUND WITH A DOZEN GUNS AT THE TIME OF HER 2023 DRUG BUST CASE
SASHA JAN SWORD (ALSO KNOWN AS SASHA ADKINS), 36, OF JONANCY, KY., WAS INDICTED BY A FEDERAL GRAND JURY IN FEBRUARY 2024 FOR DEALING METH AND ILLEGALLY OWNING MULTIPLE HANDGUNS AND SHOTGUNS.
A Pike County, Kentucky woman was arrested after she was indicted on federal drug and gun charges by a federal grand jury in Pikeville, KY. this past February 2024.
Sasha Jan Adkins, also better known as Sasha Jan Sword, 36, of Jonancy, KY., was arrested on Thursday morning, March 14. Sasha Sword was charged with one count of possession of fentanyl and more than 50 grams of meth with the intent to distribute.
Sasha Sword was also charged with felon in possession of a firearm, after Kentucky State Police found her with nine handguns and three shotguns, along with the meth, and her possessing heroin and marijuana.
Sasha Sword has a lengthy criminal record, with at least 34 arrests since April 2004, nearly all of them in Pike County, on dozens of felonies, misdemeanors, and motor traffic violations starting when she was just 18. Sasha has also served time in state prison
If convicted by a trial, Sasha Adkins (Sword) faces from five (5) years and up to forty (40) years in federal prison.
Sasha Sword is currently being held without bond in the Pike County Detention Center, in Pikeville, KY.
