COACH’S COMMENTS
“… This year’s tournament was different in year’s past. There use to be multiple brackets in each division, but this year it was 64 man brackets. So these kids really had to work to advance. I couldn’t be more proud of this group. Gentry Bowen became our first back to back state champion for Lawrence County. Eli Block and Cory Keeton came out of opposing ends of their bracket and met in the finals and were the only teammates out of 63 divisions to meet in the finals. This 3rd place trophy was more difficult to achieve than the state title last year.”
“… We competed against the best this state has to offer and for the 2nd year in a row we proved to be there.”
