ADVERTISMENT FOR BIDS
The Lawrence County Health Department will receive sealed bids for a parking lot expansion project and resurfacing of current parking lots located at 1080 Meadowbrook Lane and 1120 Mark Wayne Drive, Louisa, KY 41230.
Sealed bids labeled “Health Department Parking Project” should be delivered to the Lawrence County Health Department at 1080 Meadowbrook Lane, Louisa, KY 41230 no later than 1:00 pm on Friday, February 16, 2024. Bids will be opened Friday, February 16, 2024, at 1:15 pm. Inquiries regarding bid specifications should be directed to Debbie Miller at 66-638-4389, ext. 61. The Lawrence County Health Department reserves the right to reject any and all bids/proposals.

- Purpose
This request for proposal is for the purpose of expanding the parking lots at 1080 Meadowbrook Lane and 1120 Mark Wayne Drive, adding an additional 3,400 square feet of parking, resurfacing the current parking lot, and striping optimization according to the site plan. The site plan has been developed by Westek Development, Inc. and is attached to this advertisement. The site plan will be provided via email upon request.

- Deadline for completion
Project must be completed by May 15, 2024. Final invoice must be received by May 31, 2024, and final payment made by June 15, 2024.
- Right to Reject
The Lawrence County Health Department reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received in response to this RFP in the event funding becomes unavailable or other unforeseeable circumstances occur.
- Bonding and Insurance
All contractors and subcontractors employed on this project shall be in compliance with the Commonwealth of Kentucky requirements for Worker’s Compensation Insurance (according to KRS 342) and Unemployment Insurance (according to KRS 341).
