
13th annual golf scramble at ACTC a success
ASHLAND, Ky. – Ashland Community and Technical College (ACTC) held its 13th annual golf scramble at Bellefonte Country Club on Sept. 25.
This event continues to be one of ACTC’s most successful fundraising events for student scholarships.
“While golf brings us together for a day of friendly competition, the true victory is knowing that every dollar raised helps ACTC students pursue their education, overcome financial barriers, and build a brighter future,” said Kim Jones, ACTC advancement administrator.
With 22 teams participating in this year’s golf scramble, the event raised a total of $23,238.31.
The Kentucky Farmer’s Bank team placed first in this year’s event, with Bob & Christy Craycraft Family Foundation’s team tying for second with Clark’s Pump & Shop.
The event was sponsored by Bob & Craycraft Family Foundation, Clark’s Pump-N-Shop, John Stewart, Paramount Properties, Ashland Area YMCA, Baird Wealth Management, Community Trust Bank, Edward Jones, Scott Rigsby, Hometown Solutions, Dwane Johnson, IBEW Local Union 317, Kentucky Farmers Bank, Kentucky Power/AEP, Marathon Petroleum, Plumbers & Steamfitters Local Union 248, Ramey-Estep Re-Group, Rumpke, and UK King’s Daughters.
