Apparently hard work and change..is not appropriate...so to the next guy or gal that gets the Mayors seat...you will be the next one to kick around...people are so funny

I hope it is someone else. Harold is taking advantage of the city taxpayers money by raising the salary for the next mayor. He only raised it because he thinks he will get elected again. That is not right. I can see raising it a couple thousand dollars but raising it to $50,000.00 or more is ridiculous for the city taxpayers to pay. It’s just not right. Get ready for the negative remarks on this comment. You can figure out where they are coming from just like the person said in another post.

This river walk project is a total waste of money, I mean it’s not like we live by this awesome river, it’s a nasty, smelly trashy mess. Their are so many other things this money could be used for.

Had you read the article on here from several months ago you would know that the money for the Riverwalk is from a Federal Grant the Mayor applied for and received. The grant CANNOT be used for
anything but the riverwalk. If it doesn't go toward the Riverwalk, it has to be sent back to the government.

Not true. This was applied for way before Harold Slone became Mayor. Credit is not due for him on this.

Harold, you’re beat. There is a good name that is running for mayor this time, you’ll see. The vote this time will be embarrassing to you. {Censored}.

It doesn't take a very smart person to figure out who is posting the negative comments to each of these posts . Even a kid could figure out it is Slone and family. Dang Harold you are not as bright as I thought you were. My vote for you is up in the air.

I just hope someone with a little bit of sense runs after Mayor Slone raised the salary for the next mayor to 50,000. He only did this for his own potential gain. This is Louisa and we do not need a full time mayor. We have never had one, don’t need one, why pay for one? It’s not worth it.

I figure whoever is giving negative marks on this comment is family members of the Mayor.

Typical whine bag. You’re not the only person living here. We want the river walk. We don’t care what you think. If we listened to people like you, we wouldn’t have anything in Lawrence County.

Negative doesn’t get you anywhere.
