Afternoon!
Just wanted to give you an update on things here at the park. Hopefully this will answer many questions as to what is what here during time of the coronavirus.
- Campground is CLOSED till further notice. (including all bathrooms)
- Playgrounds are CLOSED! Located at the campground and marina. The shelters at the marina are also CLOSED.
- All hiking trails on the campground and marina are OPEN. Please observe social distancing while utilizing the trails. Trails are open from 7a.m. to 7p.m. daily.
- The marina is OPEN! You many launch your boat at the marina and at our boat launch located on 3215 just down from the Campground. (bathrooms are CLOSED at the marina) Tony is working at the marina, but guest are not permitted inside of the boathouse. Please call ahead if you need anything from Tony, 686-2361. We ask that you observe social distancing when at the marina area and boat launch on 3215.
- The golf course is OPEN! However golf carts are not permitted at this time unless you have a CURRENT registered handicap sticker. If you have a handicap sticker you must present it at check-in and a copy will be made by staff. **It is imperative that you call ahead if you plan on playing golf with your handicap sticker so we may staff accordingly and have a golf cart for you. If you just show up it may delay us getting a cart out for you. You may be surprised but we have had many golfers over the past few days come out and walk and play the golf course. You do not need a tee time, just come on out. It is $10 to walk 9 holes. Please check in at the window on the front porch. No guest are permitted inside at this time. The driving range is OPEN! All golf carts and hitting on the range must be completed by 4:45p.m. daily so when the pro shop closes at 5p.m. the gate on golf course road will also be locked. We ask that you observe social distancing when at the golf course, and do not touch the flag stick.
Please don’t hesitate to call us at the park if you have a question. I may not have the answer off hand but have said this many times over the past few weeks…If I don’t know I will surely find out!!! I would also like to say on a personal note thank you for all that have been praying for my family. The Coronavirus hit home with my family back in Cincinnati and you can be assured me and my staff are taking this seriously with all precautions put forth by the CDC.
Come out and enjoy YOUR park!
See you at the park and course!
