Arctic air is coming and so are high winds. The combination will bring sub-zero windchill that could dip below -20 degrees during the day Wednesday. The arctic air will start invading the region Tuesday evening. Temperatures will fall sharply Tuesday night. We should dip down to 0 degrees by 8 a.m. Wednesday. The temperature pendulum will swing in the other direction by the end of the week into the upcoming weekend, with above normal temperatures returning to the Ohio Valley.
