2016 TOLSIA BASEBALL
Fort Gay, W. Va. — The Rebels won their second consecutive home game when they cruised past rival Tug Valley 15-6 behind clutch two out hitting to put the Panthers away early. Tolsia played really well from the games first pitch and came up with a bunch of two out hits to get the victory. Another huge crowd was on hand at the new home of the Rebels.
Tolsia 3 Hannan 2
The Rebels picked up their first road win on the year as Tolsia hurler Logan Presley got the complete game victory as he gave up six hits while striking out six hitters.
Blake Stuart paced the offense with three hits and one RBI, Seth McMillion had two hits, Presley was on base three times, Eric Williams was on base twice and scored a run, Jared Switzer had one hit and scored a run, Trey Smith was on base twice, Tyler Stroud scored a run. The defense was flawless behind Presley and the offense did just enough to get the road win.

COACH’S COMMENT
“… We are so young and inexperienced but played really well vs Hannan probably our best game of the year. The kids are really working hard and we are trying to put a good product on the field. It was good to get another win at home vs Tug Valley in front of our fans, they were great really into the game. The Cardinal Conference is loaded again this year so we will take some lumps against Wayne, Chapmanville and Sissonville but hopefully it will make us better.”
