Taylor Cheyenne Messer, 12, of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 20, 2020 at her home.
Taylor was born May 27, 2008 in Huntington, West Virginia to Thomas John Messer and Stephanie Brooke Marcum Golden.
She is survived by her father, Thomas John Messer and mother, Stephanie (Joe) Golden; two brothers, Aiden Messer and Evan Messer; one sister, Aubrey Golden; her paternal grandparents, Tommy and Elaine Messer; and her maternal grandparents, Paul and Violet Marcum. She also leaves aunts and uncles, Tawnya Vance, Donald (Brittany) Todd, and Michelle (Lafe) Messer; Nanny and Papaw Chip Golden; and a host of cousins, friends, and loved ones.
Taylor loved her geckos, Ross, Rachael, and Toph, her art, playing piano, tennis, golf, dancing, sewing, and she was a foodie.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2PM on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at New Life Outreach in Fort Gay, WV with Pastor Bobby Perry officiating. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, November 24 from Noon until the time of services at the New Life Outreach Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Hematology/Oncology Dept. in Columbus, OH, in Taylor’s Memory.
