Steven Chase Winn passed away at State Street in Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Louisa, Kentucky on August 28, 2016 at the age of 23.
Chase is predeceased by Jimmy Ed Johnson his Maternal Grandfather, Poppy Winn his Paternal Grandfather, also a special Grandfather Dave “Poppy” McGraw. He also lost a very special Uncle David “Butchie” Wellman.
Chase is lovingly remembered by his Mother & Best Friend Michelle Tharpe, and his Nana Gloria Johnson (Who was also his world). His Uncle Jim & Aunt Cherith Johnson. His special Aunt Leslie “Ezzie” Wellman. Two cousins, Asia & Josh Hatfield with their son Liam of Louisa. Tori & Josh Ratliff with their two sons, Bennie & Keegan of Georgetown, Kentucky. His Aunt Susan Wilson. Special friends Fred & Carrie Collins. Also his father Jimmie Winn (Angelene Boyd) of Prestonsburg. His Brother Josh Winn and two sisters Kayla Lakes and Natalie Napier.
Chase was born in Louisa, Kentucky on March 4, 1993. He graduated from Lawrence County High School in 2011 and was working on his degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky; he was a senior this year. Chase worked as a supervisor at UPS.
Chase enjoyed Cycling, Hiking, Traveling, Water Sports and helping others. He loved being the life of the party! He did not know a stranger.
Chase is also lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters, who were also my kids; Joe Hay, Carol Koh, Meng Zhang, Cody Moore, Anthony Evens, Colin Homes, Seth Rigsby, Michael J. Geddes Skelding, Jessica Thornsbury, Hunter James, Coty Hobbs, Brooke Keesee, Aaron Rigsby, Kendra Boyer, Janie Kegley and his special friend Allison Nelson.
There will be a Memorial Celebration held at Young Funeral Home Chapel in Louisa on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 2 pm. Please dress Casual, Chase would want it that way – Everyone comfortable.
