Fort Gay woman charged with possession, intent to sell Meth
Wayne Co. Sheriff Rick Thompson announced today that within the last 3 days, 6 drug arrests have been made.
On Tuesday, March 7th the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit and the WVSP, Wayne Detachment arrested 2 suspects in the Lavalette area of Wayne County. Dustin Dillon of Lavalette and Jodi Puskas of Wayne were arrested. The sheriff reported that each suspect was charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Heroin), Conspiracy and Child Endangerment creating the risk of injury. An 11 year old was present when the drug transaction occurred. WVSP assisted in the arrest.
On Wednesday, March 8, the US Marshall’s Cuffed Task Force arrested two suspects on Drug Warrants from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department Drug Enforcement Unit. Kevin Pauley of Kenova is charged with Operating or Attempting to Operate a Clandestine Drug Lab and Precursors for Meth in the Kenova area. Kayla McDonald is charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver (Crystal Methamphetamine) and Conspiracy in the Fort Gay area.
Mercer County officials notified The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department that Eden Boswell had turned herself in on Wednesday pending warrants issued by the WCSD Drug Enforcement Unit. Felony warrants were issued for Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine) and Conspiracy that occurred in the Fort Gay area of Wayne County. In addition to Boswell, US Marshalls executed a warrant for David Scott, who is being detained in Ohio County on a parole violation and was charged along with Boswell on Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Conspiracy.
Sheriff Thompson wants to acknowledge the efforts made by all local departments since January 1, 2017 when he took office. “We greatly appreciate the efforts of the WCSD, WCSD Drug Enforcement Unit and the WVSP as well as the Wayne Police Department’s efforts,” Thompson said in a release today.
There have been more than 10 arrests made by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department Drug enforcement Unit in reference to undercover drug investigations.
