COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Not really happy with our slow start. Took us three innings to get going. Guys wasn’t prepared to play, maybe the change of venue messed with them. They laid around after school and didn’t get ready to play.”
“…Still making too many mistakes, but the good thing is we are winning and have tons to improve on. We are still very young, I tend to forget that sometimes.”
“…Thought the guys bunted well and when we do that we will have a chance because it puts the defense in a hard spot.” Defense played well for the most part”
TVC Coach Brian Sexton
COACH’S COMMENTS
“… I thought our kids battled for the first time this year and that was good to see. We are really young and that shows at times, We put the ball in play and didn’t strike out as much. We had some mistakes on the bases that hurt us late in the game.”
