COACH’S COMMENTS
“… This should be our second scrimmage game and usually after the second one you have a lot to work on. We had a lot of mistakes, we will work on that to get it corrected. Our defense was very good tonight, thought we played hard and did a good job communicating to each other as well. We didn’t know a whole lot about that him. It was the first ever meeting between the two schools that I know of so we weren’t familiar with each other. The field was in rough shape after all the rain this week and it affected both teams. It didn’t hurt John Wilson as much because he is a muffed anyway. He runs so hard along with our other backs.”
“… I think the mud slowed them down a little, they try to use bubble screens and get out into the open field, their QB is a good player, and middle linebacker is as well, I think one of their lineman got hurt early on. They have some good pieces to work with and could make some noise this year.”
“… Supposed to go on the road next week but you never know with everything going on. We are just taking it day by day at this point.”
