Fort Gay, W. Va. — Jesse Muncy scored a career high Thursday and Anthony Lovins scored a career high Friday as Tolsia started the year with back to back Home victories over Covenant Christian and Calvary Baptist.

Muncy hit 7 three pointers and scored 36 points as the Rebels pounded the Eagles. Tyler Johnson scored 21 points, Austin Salmons chipped in with 17, Blake Sturgell scored 4 points, Anthony Lovins and Trey Brumfield scored 2 points each.

The Rebels hit 14 three pointers including 5 from Anthony Lovins who scored a career high 18 points to lead the victors. Tyler Johnson also scored 18, Jesse Muncy netted 16 points, Rob Cantrell tallied 13 points, Steven Ward chipped in with 7, Austin Salmons had 4 points.
Tolsia will play today against Huntington St. Joe at Fairland, Ohio tip time will be 4:30.

“… Glad to start out 2-0 both teams on back to back days were a challenge for us but we showed some heart and really proud of our team. We shot the ball well, moved the ball and wasn’t stagnant on offense. Was happy for Anthony Lovins and Steven Ward. Shows maturity on their part to come out prepared and focused. Will have a tough one Saturday vs St. Joe big section game for us.”
