Dear Friend,
Christmas is a time when children are filled with joy and wonder as they await Santa Claus. But not all children share the anticipation of presents under the tree. Sadly, many children in Lawrence County expect Santa to pass them by. They have little hope for a happy holiday. 2020 has been a year when many parents have lost their jobs and are struggling to make ends meet. The Cabinet works with these families every day. The Lawrence County Office is undertaking a massive project this year. We want to provide Christmas gifts for each of the 114 children with whom we currently work.
Can you help us? We are asking for donations in the form of toys, electronics or gift cards. We cannot accept cash. We have children from infants up to age 18. You can sponsor a single child, a girl, a boy, a particular age, a sibling group, or any number of children.
Call our office at 606-638-4360 and let us know what you, your business, or your organization can do. You can drop items off at our office from 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday-Friday through December 14, 2020. We will even come to you to pick up any donations.
We strongly believe people like you will help us make this program a strong success. We look forward to hearing from you!
Message us via Facebook too.
Sincerely,

Do you accept paypal?
Sorry, no
Are these not the same kids that are already sponsored by Angel Trees at the schools? Just wondering? I’m already sponsoring 2 of those and I’m pretty sure these kids are the same kids but I could be mistaken.
No they are not on any agency list . Most are in foster care
So foster children aren’t allowed to participate in the schools Angel Tree programs? That doesn’t seem fair…..
You’re mistaken. These children were not asked to participate in the Angel Tree.
Would morons please stop having kids. If the system would distribute birth control like meals it would be a good start.
