Nancy Perry

Nancy Perry, 78, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
Nancy was born June 18, 1940 to the late Craig and Nancy MacQuaid. Nancy was a retired educator, having spent over 40 years in the classroom. After she retired from teaching, you could find her at Wal-Mart, welcoming all those that entered. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Louisa, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was also a volunteer with 4H, the Library and a member of the Homemakers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dallas Perry and her sister Margie Uckele.
Survivors include her children Ginny (Shawn) Harper, Mary (Stuart) Henson, James (Mellisa) Perry and Dale Perry; grandchildren Megan Harper, Spencer Perry, Jacob (Gabby Elsbernd), Audree Harper Williams, Nathan Perry, Karina Henson, Cody Perry, Katherine Henson, Blake Perry, and John Henson; great granddaughter Kenzley Perry; brother Craig (Norma) MacQuaid Jr; sister in law Sally Perry Turner; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Perry will be Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 2:30 PM at Louisa First Baptist Church with Pastor Chuck Price officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Visitation for Mrs. Perry will be Saturday, August 11, 2018 after 6:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel and Sunday, August 12, 2018 from Noon until time of service.
