Portia L. Murphy

Ms. Portia L. Murphy, 63, formerly of Fallsburg, KY passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Portia was born August 27, 1954 to the late Charles William and Nancy Eline Scott Fitzgerald. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roger Murphy.

Survivors include her children Roger Douglas (Regina Stewart) Murphy and Tonya (Jerry Legg) Murphy; granddaughter Jadden (Alexander) Chase; great grandchildren Emily Chase and Aubrey Chase; and siblings Norman Fitzgerald, Richard Fitzgerald, Tammy Jackson, Barbara Lowe, and Kelly Fitzgerald.

Funeral services for Ms. Murphy will be conducted Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Daryl Ratliff officiating.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 11:00 AM until time of service.
