LOUISA, KY. — On March 28 & 29, 2019 officers throughout the Tri-State area came together in Louisa for drug interdiction training.
During a class, hosted by D.I.C.E & the Kenova Police Department Approximately 40 officers representing 17 different departments and drug task force units, all completed a two day class on drug interdiction.
The course was taught by the Ohio State Highway Patrol Drug Interdiction Division. This course will increase the networking between multiple agencies and give each officer a better understanding of how the drugs are being distributed and shipped within the Tri-State area.
