James D. Patrick, 38, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on February 1, 2018, at 2:58 P.M., by deputy Michael Housinger of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (NO VISIBLE INJURY) [ 2 SEPARATE CHARGE COUNTS ].
James L Parsons, 52, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on February 3, 2018, at 5:40 P.M., by trooper Ryan Hale of the Kentucky State Police-Post #9-Pikeville, and was charged with: CHARGES UNKNOWN.
James A. Osborne, 37, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on February 3, 2018, at 7:18 P.M., by a deputy of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • SERVING TWO BENCH WARRANTS FOR COURT.
Jeffrey A. Looney, 25, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on February 4, 2018, at 10:53 A.M., by deputy Chris Todd of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • DRIVING DUI SUSPENDED LICENSE – 2ND OFFENSE, • FAILURE TO REGISTER TRANSFER OF MOTOR VEHICLE, • NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT, • NO REGISTRATION PLATES.
James A. Moore 48, of Lovely, Kentucky; was arrested on February 5, 2018, at 5:01 P.M., by deputy Billy Patrick of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 2ND OR > OFFENSE – (< 10 D.U. OPIATES), • PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER II.
Paul Douglas Muncy, 37, of Lovely, Kentucky; was arrested via a grand jury indictment on February 6, 2017, at 11:35 A.M., by deputy Eddie Stepp of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • PROMOTING A MINOR (UNDER/16) IN SEX PERFORMANCE, • VIDEO VOYEURISM.
According to a press release report, Paul Douglas Muncy was indicted February 1 on charges that he allegedly took a photo of a topless 15-year old juvenile on his cell phone.
The report states that on December 29, 2017,, the Martin County Sheriff’s Department Office responded to a complaint after a woman found a topless photo of a 15-year old juvenile on a cell phone belonging to 37-year old Paul Muncy, of Lovely.
Muncy allegedly admitted to taking the photo and deputies also found a video that Muncy allegedly took of a juvenile female in a bath tub.
Douglas, then age 36, was taken into custody on December 29 by deputy Aaron Blevins, and was booked in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, where he soon posted bail and was released.
Paul Douglas Muncy has been indicted on 1 count of promoting a minor in a sexual performance and 1 count of video voyeurism. Both crimes could be punishable by up to 25 years in prison (10-20 years on promoting of a minor in a sexual performance, a class B felony and 1-5 years on the video voyeurism charge, a class D felony). Muncy could also be facing a fine of $20,000 if convicted.
Paul Douglas Muncy was lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center under a $20,000 dollar cash bond, where he is still remains incarcerated.
Larry M. Brewer, 42, of Lovely, Kentucky; was arrested on February 6, 2018, at 2:58 P.M., by deputy Eddie Stepp of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • BURGLARY, 2ND DEGREE, • RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY UNDER/$10,000, • POSSESSION A CONTROLLED. SUBSTANCE., 2ND OR > OFFENSE, • PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER II.
Kent Porter, 60, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was booked on February 6, 2018, at 6:00 P.M., after being taken into custody by the Martin County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea weekend jail sentence: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.
Ray L. Marcum, 32, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on February 7, 2018, at 11:45 P.M., by deputy Aaron Blevins of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR ( 2 SEPARATE CHARGE COUNTS ).
Justin M. Mollette, 28, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on February 7, 2018, at 11:54 P.M., by trooper Dustin Thompson of the Kentucky State Police-Post #9-Pikeville, and was charged with: • FORGERY 3RD DEGREE, • THEFT-RECEIPT OF STOLEN CREDIT/DEBIT CARD (1 CARD).
