Martin County Sheriff’s Deputies were patrolling North Wolf Creek this morning when they smelled a strong odor of Marijuana.
After investigating Deputies David Adams, JC Kirk, and Chris Sesco found 12 Marijuana plants.
Anthony Muncy, 55, was arrested for cultivation of Marijuana.
What a waste. All across the country Dispensaries have remained open because of “essential status.” The plant is on the verge of being decriminalized nationwide. And because of Covid- The jails aren’t accepting new detainees for anything.
Methamphetamine is running rampant in our region. Actual poison that’s destroying our community.
It’s just a waste of time and tax dollars
To go after Cannabis. Especially since 12 plants are a drop in the ocean compared to the 10’s of thousands cannabis plants that are grown here in eastern Ky. Theses “medical miracles” are an Appalachian tradition. Get over yourselves.
