HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) — A missing woman who vanished after a car accident has been found.
Dispatch tells WSAZ that Heather Dawn Charles, of Louisa, Ky. was found around 4:15 p.m. Saturday in Huntington outside of El Ranchito along Hal Greer Boulevard.
Investigators say she is okay.
The Huntington Police Department is investigating.

Lawrence County (Ky.) Sheriff’s deputies say Heather Dawn Charles, of Louisa, was transported Saturday night after a crash on U.S. 23 near the Boyd/Lawrence county line.
Charles had to be extricated from her vehicle and was taken to Cabell Huntington Hospital.
Huntington police say Charles left the hospital the next day, against medical advice.
Charles was spotted at a gas station along Hal Greer Boulevard, next to the hospital, on Monday.
She was caught on surveillance camera wearing a hospital gown and had cuts and bruises on her face, neck and legs.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) — A family is searching for answers and their loved one after she vanished following a serious car accident.
Lawrence County (Ky.) Sheriff’s deputies say Heather Dawn Charles, of Louisa, was transported Saturday night after a crash on U.S. 23 near the Boyd/Lawrence county line.
Charles had be extricated from her vehicle and was taken to Cabell Huntington Hospital.

“Even though she checked herself out, we don’t know that she was in her right state of mind, if something would have happened, any type of brain injury, if she doesn’t know what’s going on,” Alana May, Charles’ sister, said.
May says their family hasn’t heard from Charles since the accident.
“It’s just not normal for her to do something like this,” Charles said. “That’s why we’re so worried.”
