FT. GAY, W.VA. — Last night (Monday) members of the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit and Fort Gay Police Dept were doing drug interdiction in the Fort Gay area and made a traffic stop on a vehicle with 5 occupants.
Multiple baggies of Ice (Methamphetamine), multiple digital scales, and packaging material were seized from the vehicle DURING INSPECTION. Gabapentin, Marijuana, and Hydrocodone were also seized.
John New, of Dunlow, and Chrislyn Davis, of Delbarton, were each charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver, Pseudoephedrine Altered, and Conspiracy. Chrislyn Davis was also charged with Possession of a controlled substance X3.
Bobbie Clay, 19, of Louisa was arrested and charged with Conspiracy and Possession of a Controlled substance.Drug Enforcement Unit on December 10, 2017 for conspiracy to purchase a distribution amount of methamphetamine along with packaging, a handgun and digital scales. She was also charged with possession with intent to deliver pseudoephedrine in an altered state.
Road patrol deputies assisted in last night’s arrests. Sheriff Thompson says the arrests are part of interagency cooperation and aggressive drug enforcement.
