LOUISA, Ky. — A Louisa, Ky. man is dead after a lawn mower accident at Pine Hill Cemetery in Louisa, Kentucky Friday night just before 9 p.m. according to emergency officials.
Well known Lawrence Co. resident Buck Blankenship, 69, died after a lawnmower accident at the cemetery in Louisa. The cause of the accident and other details are pending Coroner Mike Wilson’s report.
The Louisa Vol. Fire Department and Netcare Ambulance responded to the scene and a Medi-Vac helicopter was called but later cancelled and Blankenship was transported to Three Rivers Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The accident is still under investigation by the Louisa Police Department.
