Lloyd Hundley
1933 — 2018
Lloyd Hundley, 84, was born March 25, 1933, a son of the late Hubert Alvin and Amy Mounts Hundley and went to be with the Lord on January 9, 2018.
After moving back home to West Virginia he worked at several sawmills before he began working for the West Virginia Department of Highways. Lloyd was always a hard worker and good provider. He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda (Thompson) Hundley; sisters Pauline Hundley and Nancy Robinson; and brothers, John Hundley, Homer Hundley, James Hubert Hundley, Oscar Ray Hundley, and Herbert Samuel Hundley.
Survivors include sisters Carrie Mae Workman of Dunlow, WV, and Arisbie Sharp of Vine Grove, KY; brothers Holbert Hundley of Chesapeake, OH, and Delbert Hundley of Wayne, WV; children Lloyd (Kathy) Hundley, Ronald Hundley, David Hundley, Bert (Betsy) Hundley, Roy (France) Hundley, Nancy Vanotti and Sharon (David) Chelsey; Grandchildren Joseph Moore, R.J. Hundley, Rachael Hundley, Caleb Hundley, Todd Hundley, Brianna Hundley, Rebecca Hundley, James McMahon, Benjamin Marcum and William Marcum; stepchildren Les, Steve, and Shelly Mullins; and great grandchildren Caleigh McKnight and Mason Moore.
Funeral services for Lloyd Hundley will be conducted Saturday, January 13, 2018 at noon at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Mathis Cemetery, Dunlow, WV.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of service.
