Louisa, Ky — After winning the 15th Region Girls soccer title last year, the Lawrence Co. SoccerDawgs are ready to make another run to the state tournament in year two under Head Coach Heath Webb.

The SoccerDawgs went 19-2 and fell to Russell 2-0 in the first round of the state tournament last season.
Lawrence Co. will play a challenging schedule to get them ready for Post season play.

COACH’S COMMENTS
“… The 2019 Lady Dawgs Soccer season is almost here and we are primed and ready for another year and another district and 15th region championship! After losing 7 starters to graduation we know we have to fill some holes in the lineup but we feel confident we can do so with a mixture of freshmen, sophomores, junior and seniors.
“… We have a great core group of returning players in Sarah Lycans, Ally Moore, Hayleah Fletcher and Ellie Webb all of which were All 15th region selections in 2018. Alyssa Moore, Jasmine Justice and Camran Diamond will get their chance to make their mark on this team. Our five incoming freshman Brylee Blair, Saibra Moore, Alyssa Howard, Paylin Meek and Chloe Vinson will also see time as well as returning from a season or two away from soccer Juniors Karissa Jude, Citori Branham and seniors Autumn Maynard and Jessalyn Osborn will be working to earn their spot on the field also.
“… This will be another great year of soccer for this group of girls and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them. Come out and support us as we start our season Tuesday August 13th 8:00pm as we look to defend and repeat as 15th Region Champions.”
