Lawrence County Grand Jury issues indictments on October 14th. Several drug related charges were included in the indictments as well as forged $20 bills that were used at Speedway, FoodCity, The Outpost, Clark’s Pump N Shop and McDonald’s.
Commonwealth vs. Cody Blankenship
The Grand Jury charges that on or before March 19 through March 21, 2021 in Lawrence County, Ky that:

Cody Blankenship acting alone or in complicity with Tiffany Chafin committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine) in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance.

Cody Blankenship committed the offense of theft by deception under $500 by knowingly and unlawfully obtaining property or goods, namely incurring hotel room fees in excess of $300 at the Best Western of Louisa, Ky with the intent to deprive the facility of the $329.64.

Cody Blankenship acting alone or in complicity with Tiffany Chafin committed the offense of wanton endangerment in the second degree by knowingly and unlawfully engaging in conduct which created a substantial danger to another, namely Sgt. Steve Wilburn with Louisa Police Department.

The Grand Jury charges that on or before July 7, 2021 in Lawrence County, Ky that:
Joshua Fetherolf acting alone or in complicity with Sarah Booth and Larry Dixon committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of Methamphetamine, $419.00 in cash, a bag full of empty individual baggies and digital scales with the intent to traffic in that Methamphetamine, or by trafficking in a controlled substance while having prior convictions.
Joshua Fetherolf acting alone or in complicity with Sarah Booth and Larry Dixon committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of Heroin, $419.00 in cash, a bag full of empty individual baggies and digital scales with the internet to traffic in that Heroin, or by trafficking in a controlled substance.
Joshua Fetherol, having been charged in the instant indictment, is now being charged as a persistent felony offender in the second degree.

The Grand Jury charges that on or before July 7, 2021 in Lawrence County, Ky that:

An indictment is not proof of guilt but a charge by a grand jury that there is enough evidence to take the case to trial.
