SEPARATELY, THREE (3) LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN OTHER COUNTIES JURISDICTIONS (ONE (1)) IN MARTIN COUNTY; ONE (1) WAS IN BOYD COUNTY, AND ONE (1) IN COOPER COUNTY, MISSOURI).
PREVIOUSLY, FROM 12:00 A.M., MAY 13, 2022, THRU TO 11:59 P.M., MAY 29, 2022, (17 DAYS); AT LEAST 78 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED FROM JOHNSON, LAWRENCE, MAGOFFIN, & MARTIN COUNTIES COMBINED, AND WERE BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE, KY., IN JOHNSON COUNTY, OUT OF THOSE 117 ARRESTS, 25 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY. SEPARATELY, THREE (3) LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN OTHER KENTUCKY COUNTIES JURISDICTION (ONE (1)) IN MARTIN COUNTY; WHILE ONE TWO OTHERS, (1) WAS ARRESTED IN BOYD COUNTY, AND ONE (1) IN GREENUP COUNTY, WERE ARRESTED ON WANTED CHARGES VIA LAWRENCE COUNTY WARRANTS, AND WERE EVENTUALLY BROUGHT BACK TO BE PLACED IN THE BSRDC IN JOHNSON COUNTY).
AT 6:00 A.M., THURSDAY, JUNE 9, 2022; THERE WERE 224 INMATES WHO WERE BEING HOUSED AT THE BSRDC. THE MAXIMUM DESIGNATED BUILT CAPACITY FOR THE BSRDC IS TO HOLD FOR IS 225 INMATES.

Samantha J Johnson, 31, of Ulysses,Kentucky; was arrested on May 30,2022, at 11:02 P.M., by deputy Tyler Laney, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department,and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR.
Michael Ernest Pennington, 36, of Grayson, Kentucky; was arrested on May 31, 2022, at 2:31 A.M., by deputy Tyler Laney,of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • INADEQUATE SILENCER (MUFFLER), • NO MOTORCYCLE OPERATORS LICENSE, • FAILURE TO APPEAR,CITATION FOR MISDEMEANOR (2 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS), • THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION AUTO $10,000 < $1,000,000, • PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER I.
Johnny Skaggs, 30, of Ashland, Kentucky; was taken into custody in Boyd County on May 29, 2022, at 4:05 A.M.,by deputy jailer Matt Cantrell,of the Boyd County Detention Center;where thereafter Johnny Skaggs was then transported to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, in Johnson County, KY.,and booked and lodged on May 31,2022,at 2:04 P.M.,by the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • PROBATION VIOLATION (FOR FELONY OFFENSE); for as Johnny Skaggs was on this specific probation for offenses in Lawrence County

Sherry Castle, 40, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on June 8, 2018 at 1:24 P.M., by officer Gregory King, of the Kentucky Department of Corrections Division of Probation and Parole, and was charged with: • PROBATION VIOLATION (FOR TECHNICAL VIOLATION).
Larry E. Dixon, 56, of Louisa, Kentucky; was taken into custody on June 8, 2022, at 1:33 P.M., by the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence, “weekender”: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

Jasper Davis, 60, of Louisa,Kentucky; was transported to Cooper County Missouri; on May 27, 2022, and was booked into the Cooper County, Detention Center, at 10:21 P.M., by the Cooper County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE EXCEPT 35 GRAMS OR LESS OF MARIJUANA/SYNTHETIC CANNABINOID. Jasper Davis ws held on $10,000 cash/surety bail bond. Jasper Davis has since posted his bail bond and was released from jail.
Jasper Davis was originally arrested on these charges on May 16, 2022, at 2:20 P.M., by the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • FUGITIVE FROM ANOTHER STATE – WARRANT REQUIRED (2 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS); via the two fugitive warrants from Cooper County, Missouri.
Derek A. Crum, 41, of Louisa,Kentucky; was arrested in Carter County,KY.,on May 31, 2022, at 2:45 P.M., by the Carter County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR, • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER. Derek Crum was originally arrested on these charges from Carter County on May 16, 2022, at 10:56 P.M., sergeant Steven Wilburn of the Louisa Police Department, whereupon Derek Crum was transported to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center, where he was held until May 31, when he was picked up by the Carter County Sheriff Office.

What is wrong with people?!!! I just can not understand why anyone would use drugs…especially Meth. It makes you look old and ugly. Rotten teeth. Why?
