Can you please use spell-check. Also a red squiggly line underneath what you’re typing means incorrect spelling, and a blue squiggly line means improper grammar. It’s an absolute joke that this passes for “reporting.” It’s embarrassing that this is my home town’s primary source of information and it’s so poorly written. I couldn’t even get past the first sentence, it’s illegible. If this were a fourth grade student, it would be completely understandable, but these are grown adults who have made a career in journalism. This paper thrives off arrest records, primarily because it’s the only thing worth reporting on a majority of the time. People see these articles, and the stereotype of uneducated southerners is proliferated. Please, please, for the sake of the integrity of your paper, take English 101 at ACTC. Take your job seriously, it’s your profession, and you are paid to be a professional. Better yourself, for the sake of bettering our community.
you do know there is no charge to read this
now on the other hand if you payed to read this you would have a complaint
it’s your choice to not read the FREE news I would say they are doing the best they can
Pretty sure he doesn’t get paid for this. I’d like to point out what a coward you are for being a keyboard warrior but afraid to use your own name.
Spellcheck this…….
Shut your condescending f***ing mouth!
Did I do ok?
you did great
Not only can this “journalist” not put together a logical sentence, he is also known for mixing up people’s information and reporting it on this website like he did me. He used an old mugshot of me with another individual’s charges and I had to contact him and the police department to get it finally taken down off the website.
hey Grammar 101 if you couldnt read this then you better go back to reading class, if your so f-in smart you should have been able to read this whole page with no problem, theres not a single line on this page that is hard to figure out what it says,, you surly have better stuff to do than hound this person, or is your life a total bore ?
Does it really matter so long as we can read it? We know what it says in spite of the grammar, so lighten up a bit.
OMG…… this is not Facebook! Quit letting your uneducated mines & potty mouths show on this forum. First off it “is” a disgrace to the teachers that taught these journalists. It shows the rest of the world that this area really is hillbilly. Where are your southern manners & your love one another christian manners you all preach about?
To the teachers that taught these journalists, i am sorry that your time teaching them fell on deaf ears or sleeping students. Maybe they just skipped school when grammar was taught. But it would be nice if the journalists would at least try to be correct as it sets an example to the youngsters that also read this news media. Am glad it still is free though.
Dap
It’s “ minds” not “ mines”.Now who needs educated?
