Area schools are still trying to get the first school day in of 2018 but Lawrence county will join Martin and Johnson in not having school again Friday due to the zero temperatures.
Lawrence County Pupil Personnel director Vernon Hall nor Supt. Dr. Rob Fletcher responded to a Lazer request for an official public explanation for ‘no school’ this week.

ALL LAWRENCE COUNTY SCHOOLS WILL BE CLOSED ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 5, 2018. This will be a NTI Day for students and staff.
