COACH’S COMMENT
“… Always good for the kids to get a win, been such a drought for us, a few years back we were used to being here and winning… we played in three straight region championships from 08-10.” I’m glad for our seniors, great group of kids. Proud of Methex she got tired at the end I tried to let her finish, but good for Ciana to close the door.” When we got on the bases we had to be aggressive the lefty kept us off balance so when we got on we had to use our speed.” Kinda developed the bunt and run later in the year and seems to be working.” Amber Triplett has fought hard for me ahe has done a remarkable job switching over to a slap hitter this year.” Giompalo causes havoc on the bases, she is fearless,” Lawrence Co. vs Johnson Central it doesn’t get much better than that.”
Lawrence Co. 8th Grader Mackenzie Methex
“… I was nervous, just had to throw strikes and let my defense work.” Once we got some runs I was more comfortable and the nerves went away.” I wanted to finish it but glad Ciana could shut down my mess. Glad we got the win.”
