COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Lawrence Co. has a nice team and they took advantage of mistakes early, we fell behind by 10 at the half and 18 in second half. I was proud our girls didn’t quit and gave themselves a chance to tie things up inside the last minute. We have to find a way to play four complete quarters, or we will be in for a rough road with the schedule we have coming up.”
“… St. Mary’s we were victim of a slow start , got down 13-0 and battled back within 2 points at the break 24-22. But we hit a drought shooting the ball in the Third and couldn’t recover.”
“… Great start at Van , very balanced offensive night with good finishing. Happy to get a good sectional win, Van is a tough place to play and we have had some difficulty winning there in the past. “
“… Excited to play for 3rd place again this year in the WVHIT . Will have to deal with a tough Tygarts Valley team on their home court. The WVHIT is a great event to showcase all the talent in Class A Public Schools Girls Basketball and were happy to be a part of it.”
