COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Sure we are very excited for the season to get underway. The girls have worked hard in the off season to get themselves better and ready for this season. We return everyone including Kendra Spaulding who’s coming back from a knee injury. She has worked hard to get herself back and ready for her senior season.”
“…We also have some young kids who will be able to help us as well. We will be moving to a new district with Prestonburg, Floyd Central and Betsy Layne so we are looking forward to the challenge of that move also this year.
“…We were disappointed last year with our first round loss in the regional tournament and our girls are working hard for that not to happen again. We scrimmaged last Saturday and defeated a good Mingo Central team. We had some girls really step up and lead our team. The girls have worked extremely hard and we are excited for the season to get started on December 1st vs Piarist.”
