KERMIT, WVA COUPLE ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES AFTER POLICE CALLED TO LOUISA BUSINESS WHERE DUO WERE ‘DISTURBING THE PEACE’

A Mingo County, West Virginia Couple were arrested on drug charges early Saturday night after law enforcement was called to a Louisa business place after the pair were allegedly acting out in a “provocative” manner.
According to a statement by the Louisa Police Department, on around 7:00 P.M. Saturday evening, February 23, D.I.C.E. officer were on patrol when they called to a scene which led them to arresting a man and woman, identified as Everett L. Spurlock 42, of Kermit, West Virginia, and Natasha Sue Alley 32, of Kermit, West Virginia, during a disturbance investigation in front of D & J Tobacco in Louisa.
During the investigation it was discovered Everett Spurlock had a warrant on him and he was arrested for it. Officers then discovered Everett Spurlock to be in possession of Suboxone, Neurontin, Methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia associated with drug trafficking.
Natasha Alley was found to also be in possession of drug paraphernalia containing crystal methamphetamine.
Everett Spurlock and Natasha Alley were taken into custody by deputy Michael Housinger of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department.
Everett Spurlock was charged with:
• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 2ND OFFENSE – PCP,
• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENCE (METHAMPHETAMINE),
• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSES,
• TRAFFICKING CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE WITHIN 1,000 FEET OF SCHOOL,
• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.
Natasha Alley was charged with:
• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS,
• DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 2ND DEGREE.
Both Spurlock and Alley were taken to the Big Sandy Regional Center in Paintsville. Everett Spurlock remains lodged in the BSRDC as of 10:00 A.M. Sunday morning. Natasha Alley has since posted her bail bond and was released from jail custody.
This whole DICE thing is starting to get comical. The felect few officers who are doing stuff are doing the exact same thing they have been always doing but now they want to throw out DICE to act like they are doing something new. There were more arrest last year during the same time frame and guess what..there was no DICE. Just more of the hey look at us stuff for doing our job and what we should have been doing all along. Better do more than had been done by others before you start bragging!!! Afraid it all is going to turn out to be a big joke. Still have a long way to go to fulfill what was said would be.
