The Eagle Ridge Golf League play on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, found the weather sunny, dry and the course better playable. The greens are becoming very smooth, still a little slow, but they had been rolled. Next week I expect the greens to reach their natural quickness. I played in shorts as did most players; warm and comfortable. All in all, it was a good day for golf with the ability to drive the carts in the fairways –more enjoyable play.

The league has completed 4-weeks of play. Handicaps have been adjusted and the points compiled. The most exciting event of the first month was Charlie Curnutte making 3-birdies in 9-holes.
The early points leaders in the race for the league championship are:

Curnutte, Charlie15.00

It is too early to get excited for there are 7-players lurking at two points or less from the league leaders. With the new handicaps, you will see others emerge toward the top.
See you next week at the course.
