“User” ad launched today on cable and network markets across Kentucky
LONDON– Rep. Robert Goforth (R-East Bernstadt), who is challenging Gov. Matt Bevin in the May 21st Republican Primary, began airing his campaign’s fifth television ad Wednesday in statewide cable markets and select regional network markets.
The ad is entitled “User.” It highlights Bevin’s history with the Tea Party, beginning with his unsuccessful 2014 Republican primary challenge to U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell, as well as his parting with incumbent Lt. Gov. Jenean Hampton. Bevin’s use of President Trump in his current re-election campaign is also spotlighted.

Voiceover: “Time and again, Matt Bevin has proven that he is a political user. When he ran against Senator McConnell, Bevin used the Tea Party—then sold out to establishment elites. Bevin used Jenean Hampton, then dumped her as his running mate. Now, Bevin using President Trump to prop up his campaign. The people of Kentucky can’t afford to be used by Matt Bevin for another four years. Vote Robert Goforth. A true conservative Republican for governor.”
