On Saturday, December 1, 2018, Floyd “Bo” Branham went home to be with the Lord following an extending illness.
Bo was born November 13, 1936 to the late Sammy and Maxie Branham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Ronald Branham; brothers John C. Branham and Freeman Branham; and sisters Elsie Grizzard and Deloris Begley.
Surviving are his wife Darlene Branham; sons Richard Branham and Phillip Branham of Louisa; daughter DeAnna Wolfe of Louisa; brothers Darell Branham and Gary Branham of Florida, Sam Branham of Paintsville, and David Branham of Louisa; sisters Ellen Bowen of Kenova, WV and Wanda Bowen of Somerset; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Bo was a member of New Friendship Church for 59 years, where he served as a Sunday School teacher and Choir Leader. He was a tenor singer with the Branham Brothers Quartet and was retired from Inco Alloys.
A memorial service will be conducted Friday, December 7, 2018 at 7:00 PM at New Friendship Church with Pastor Mike Cox, Pastor John Goble, and Pastor Jerry Pack officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Community Hospice.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Branham.
My husband Charlie coached Little League Baseball with Bo for several
years and always thought highly of him. He was a fine Christian man and will missed. Our prayers go out to the family.
