Sandy Hook, Ky. — Lawrence Co. ( 17-6 ) scored 31 runs to sweep a doubleheader from Elliott Co. ( 10-10 ) Thursday evening at Lakeside elementary.

The Dawgs scored 12 runs in the second inning and cruised to a mercy shortened four inning road victory over the Lions.
Abby Nelson collected four hits including a double and knocked in six runs to pace the offense, Kensley Feltner had two hits, two RBIs and scored three times, Dani Crum and Savannah Wright posted two hits, scored twice and drove in a run apiece, Bree Jones doubled, scored twice and drove in one run, Allie Triplett singled, scored three times and drove in three runs, Gracie Preece singled in a run and scored three times, Shelby Blevins had one hit, scored once and drove in a run, Camber Maxie-Stepp had one hit and scored twice.
Taylor Blevins went four innings in the circle to pick up the win.
For Elliott Co. Emily Markwell collected two hits, Zoey Rainbolt, Skylar Copley, Maleigh McDaniel and Hannah Jones had one hit each.

Kensley Feltner belted two home runs and drove in four runs to help the Dawgs to the road victory.
Shelby Blevins went the distance in the circle to get the win, she also had one hit offensively.
Abby Nelson continued her hot hitting with two hits, one RBI and scored two runs, Gracie Preece singled twice and scored twice, Bree Jones singled twice and drove in a run, Kaitlyn Meddings singled and drove in three runs, Dani Crum and Allie Triplett singled and scored a run each, Jaylee Maxie and Camber Maxie-Stepp scored a run each.
Maleigh McDaniel doubled twice, tripled and drove in fours run to pace the Lions offensively, Zoey Rainbolt, Skylar Copley, Katie Hutchison, Hannah McDaniel and Kristen Casto all had one hit each.

The Dawgs batted around in the first inning scoring three runs and then held on for a 8-5 victory over Boyd Co. ( 11-6 ) on the road Tuesday evening.
Abby Nelson had a great week at the plate against Boyd Co. and Elliott Co.
Abby Nelson collected three hits and drove in two runs, Kensley Feltner also had three hits including a double and drove in a run to pace the Dawgs offensively, Bree Jones singled twice, was on base four times and scored three runs from her leadoff spot, Shelby Blevins had one hit and drove in two runs, Ella Fitzpatrick and Savannah Wright singled and drove in a run, Dani Crum doubled and scored two runs, Gracie Preece also doubled.
Taylor Blevins pitched the first three innings to pick up the victory and Allie Triplett went the final four innings to pick up the save.
