Myrtle Beach, S.C. — Lawrence Co. brothers Jarrett and CJ Fairchild looked like the Bash Brothers that played for the A’s in the 1990’s as they combined for three home runs and seven RBIs in a 13-12 extra inning victory over Bethlehem ( 9-2 ) at the Cal Ripken Experience on Thursday afternoon.
Blake Jordan went two innings allowing only one run to pick up the victory in relief as the Dawgs improved to 2-1 on spring break and 7-3 overall.
Jarrett Fairchild went 3-4 with two home runs, three runs batted in and scored three times, Brother CJ went 2-4 with four runs batted in including the game winning walk off hit in the 9th inning after the Bulldogs trailed by one. Brad Parks scored the winning run and went 3-6 at the plate including a double and triple and scored three runs. Austin Roe and Jackson Feltner both had two hits, Roe with double and RBI, Feltner with 2 RBIs. Peyton Cyrus had a RBI Double before leaving with an injury, Hunter Crum and Tyler Maynard had one hit and one RBI each.
The Bulldogs will finish the trip with a 9:00 game Friday morning against Louisville Eastern (7-6) before heading home.

“… We played a very good team that was great offensively but struggled on the defense side of the game. We on the other hand pounded the baseball, it was a really hard day to be a defensive player, the winds were constantly blowing 25+ mph and changed directions. Overall we’ve played hard all week long.” It was my first varsity home run and I have never hit two in a game before.”
